Rose and pistachio wedding cake

The brief was simple: something that tasted of late summer and would not wilt in a warm barn. We settled on pistachio sponge, rose buttercream and a raspberry layer through the middle tier.

Priya delivered it in the morning and built the tiers on site, finishing the top with pressed rose petals from the couple’s own garden.
